VP Technical Development and Innovation, Flight Operations
Graduate from Ecole Centrale de Lyon and in possession of a Master from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Telecommunications, Eric Trautmann starts his career in aviation at UTA Industries by developping aircraft modification projects in civilian areas ( VIP aircraft, renovation navigation systems ....) and military areas (AWACS Integration, installation of the weapon system).
At Air France Industries, he assumes responsibility of Boeing 737 fleet maintenance of Air France and Aéropostale and then responsability of 747 Heavy Maintenance program.
Then he joined ground services organisation as Head of Terminals B and D of Charles de Gaulle airport.
He takes the responsability of a major transformation program in all of France station before becoming VP Aircraft Service within Ground Services .
In 2011, he joins the Flight Ops as VP Innovation and Transformation where he has supported the implementation of “Trajectoire” program. The purpose of this program is a significant improvement of the Flight Safety relied on the major overhaul of the framework in which pilots carry out their “airmanship”.
In 2013, he is appointed as VP Technical Development and Innovation within Air France Flight Operations
